Festive Striped Cake - Prepare & Decorate
Learn how to make this super stylish festive cake, mastering the art of a striped cake using buttercream, and using a stencil & glitter to create a fondant topper.
During this class, you'll be given a pre-baked 6 inch cake (two layers), which you'll cut, level and then fill using our signature buttercream in the colour palette of your choice. We'll show you how to fill, stack and crumb coat your cake, before masking it with buttercream to get that flawless finish and crisp lines.
We'll show you how to create the striped effect before creating a festive fondant topper using fondant, stencils and glitters. We'll finish off by adding a flurry of ruffles and sprinkles to add that final touch.
We'll share the cake recipe and our signature buttercream recipe.
